No Matter What Run To Him!

No matter what you've done
God still loves you.

Last Monday we talked about the fact that God values and loves us. In spite of this truth, often times when we mess up our tendency is to want to hide from God rather then run to him. We feel the need to avoid him, at least until we get all our ducks in a row. Truthfully though, He already knows every thought, action and mistake we have made or will ever make. There is absolutely nothing hidden from him. Thankfully, even when we have messed up and find ourselves at our lowest point, God still loves us.

“Now, most people would not be willing to die for an upright person, though someone might perhaps be willing to die for a person who is especially good. But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭5:7-8‬ ‭NLT‬‬

So no matter where we've been and no matter what we've done we must come to him anyway. We have his promise that no matter what, he will never leave us or abandon us.

“So be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid and do not panic before them. For the LORD your God will personally go ahead of you. He will neither fail you nor abandon you.””
‭‭Deuteronomy‬ ‭31:6‬ ‭NLT‬‬

No matter what we do He will never leave us. He loves us to much too.

We are told in the book of Genesis that Adam and Eve messed up a lot when they ate the fruit from the Tree of The Knowledge of Good and Evil (Gen 3:6). But do you know God still talked to them after they messed up (Gen 3:8&9)? He even did what he could to take care of them in spite of their mistake (Gen 3:21).

When we mess up we must come to God anyway. He still loves us, he never stopped.

“So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most.”
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭4:16‬ ‭NLT‬‬

It is only when we come to God that we can find help. He wants to pour out his grace and mercy into every situation (both good and bad) we encounter, even those of our own making. Every time we slip up, he wants to help us! Let me encourage you, draw near to God in spite of what you have done. He will draw near to you if you do (James 4:8). Turn to him when you mess up and allow him to help you when you need it most. Allow him to bring you back to the place where you walk in the life he has and want's for you. Believe me, he wants to more then you'll ever know.

".......I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows).”
‭‭John‬ ‭10:10‬ ‭AMP‬‬
