Does God really want more for us then where we are right now? The answer is emphatically yes!
I know that some of you were born under a cloud of horrible circumstances but, our beginning, our past or our present circumstances don't have to be what defines us. They certainly don't define us in God's eyes. When God sees us He doesn't see any of these circumstances. If we have accepted (through the gift of salvation) what Christ did on the cross, then, all that God sees is one of his precious kids. And like every wonderful father he has great plans for us.
I came so they can have real and eternal life, more and better life than they ever dreamed of.” John 10:6-10 MSG
You matter to God. And He wants to see you prosper. What a wonderful promise.
Take a minute and ask yourself a couple of questions.
- What topic can I talk on for hours?
- If I had unlimited resources what would I pursue with abandon?
Personally, if I could talk on anything for hours it would be that God loves his people passionately and that he wants each and everyone of us to thrive no matter the circumstances. I am passionate about seeing people make it. Consequently, I tend to be a pretty loud cheerleader and advocate when it comes to the people in my life. There's only one difference between you and I. I have had the opportunity to allow God to grow these passions into a ministry. The wonderful thing is God can grow your passions too. And, in actuality, God wants to. You'll find that we serve a God that passionately wants to see us make it.
“The LORD directs the steps of the godly. He delights in every detail of their lives. Though they stumble, they will never fall, for the LORD holds them by the hand.”
Psalms 37:23-24 NLT
“Take delight in the LORD, and he will give you your heart’s desires.”
Psalms 37:4 NLT
Yes, there is more for you. And if you'll allow God to grow it, wonderful things will happen.
Be Blessed
